  • Un-Ban all blocked ips each time period

    Select the time period for Robot Control Pro to automatically release all banned IP addresses. Robot Control Pro will not remove the manually banned IP address. Depending on the about of banned IP‚s you can chose from 3 hours till 4 weeks. We recommend a few days or one week. After a week the RCP orange page will give a clear look on the attacks, thieves, spammers and hackers had visited your site. After the select time period RCP will release all the bans on the IP‚s listed on your RCP orange button Banned page.

  • Do not ban more then amount ips

    To avoid that the list of banned IP addresses might grow to big. You can select the maximal amount allowed banned IP‚s. If the Orange banned page contains more ip‚s then you have selected. Then RCP will on the next search engine visit release all banned IP addresses except the manually banned ip‚s. We recommend around 500 a 1000 ip‚s. This will give you a clear view on what happens on your site with out that the list grows to big and loads slow.

  • Path to the webserver error.log file

    Enter the virtual path to your website error.log file. Each website generates his own access.log and error.log file. Most of the time the log files are located in the root just bellow the public htdocs or web folder. Sample path: local/apache/var/logs/error_log.

    Both log files are required by RCP for the Grey & Yellow button in your rcp admin area menu. Can‚t find the log files on your server. Contact your hosting company and ask them for the virtual path to the access and error log file. You have the full right to use the log files for analyzing your site errors. 95% of all hosting companies will provide you the log paths without any problems.

  • Enter Your Robot Control Pro Serial Code

    The first thing you must when you run the RCP install script is fill-in the Robot Control Pro serial number. Each client has his own unique serial number that matches the domain(s) in your license file. Your serial number is printed in your personal RCP license file. With out the serial number install will fail. Any install attempt without a serial number will be seen as a attempt of abuse!   • Live Stats Log Analyzer reads how many log lines

    Select the amount of latest entries lines from your access.log file that you wish to analyzed in the RCP Yellow button Statistics page. The bigger the access.log file is the more lines you can Select. The more lines you select the better the results on the statistics page. The more lines you Select the longer RCP needs to create the statistics page in your browser. RCP will analyze the log file live.

    The Yellow button Statistics page contains 2 top lists. Select how big your toplist should be for the most Popular URLs on your website that you wish to see on the statistics page. We recommend 20.
